I know this is probably going to get somewhat heated but when czrk147 said I follow the bible i decided to ease into this topic.
You probably are thinking, "wait aren't both of them tied together" but I would have to say they are not
so discuss xD

Well, I don't believe in God in the slightest. I don't believe that some virgin spawn from jerusalem was able to make miracles happen either.

I am assuming you are referring to a Judeau Christian religion? And the bible despite being the "Word of God" was written by men & is not fully complete, some parts like the Gospel of Judas were edited out.
To answer your question if it's the Judeau Christian religion then it would be neither.

Ok..so I'm assuming your not a Christian?? But to answer your question I believe in both..the bible is how God communicates to us Christians. The bible is the word of god..through the bible we learn more about our lord Jesus!!

I don't believe in a religion, though, I read an interesting theory proposed in a fiction book, that could explain somethings, and as to what 'God' Is. But, too elaborate to explain in detail.

Regarding the bible and christianity, you would think that if God were as wise and powerful as the christians believe, then he wouldn't need to resort to fear tactics (ie heaven and hell) to scare or bribe us into behaving decently. I cant think of God as a persona anymore but if he were, I like to hope he were wiser that that.

The thing I was talking about, has something that may explain what you are talking about. It talks about how The Ultimate, or 'God' could just be a baby and learning through the experiences of the creatures it creates in it's mind. But not baby in that sense. Anyways, I font believe in the theory, just think it makes got interesting debate.

Jesus Christ's existence is fact. Indisputable. No fairy tale there.

So is Julius Caesar's. What's your point?
And actually there's a great deal more evidence that Caesar existed than there is that Jesus did.

Exactly, and some people dispute Jesus lived by the way. the story of Christianity and Jesus is basically stolen from like 8 other religions before it. For anyone with netflix I strongly recommend the "atheist tapes" it's on instant

Voltaire said it best: "God is a comedian playing to an audience that is afraid to laugh."
Actually there is one gospel that I wholeheartedly endorse : Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. "Verily the story of Biff has to tell is a miraculous one, filled with remarkable journeys, magic, healing, kung fu, corpse reanimations, demons, and hot babes."
a few choice quotes; "Smite the sons of bitches Josh!" "Blessed are the dumbfucks" "It's wildly irritating to have invented something as revolutionary as sarcasm, only to have it abused by amateurs." "It's very difficult to stay angry when a room full of bald guys in orange robes start giggling. Buddhism." "Children see magic because they look for it."

Here's how I see it: I go to Church. I am a Roman Catholic. I believe in the Bible. HOWEVER, this is simply my opinion. I'm not like most other religious people because I won't go onto forums quoting Scripture. It all depends on what the person personally believes. (don't think I'm forcing my opinions on anybody. If you do I'm sorry if you mis-understand me. Just saying my personal opinion) People often say there is no God, but I always ask them, how would the earth be formed then, if there was no God? Sure, you can say the big bang, but where did the very molecules of the big bang come from? People can go around in circles, but they will quickly run out of answers. All you have to say is, "God made that". Even if God wasn't real, how hard is it really to follow what he wants? Sure, there are a lot of rules you should follow, but even the people who aren't religious it is easy for. All you have to do is sacrifice an hour every Sunday for Church, and make sure you treat others with kindness, which you should do already. If you REALLY believe in God, there is a LOAD of things that are difficult, yet you still have to follow. But just start with the basics... DON'T BE A JERK. The rest is gravy On
