I watch UFC. I watch K1 also but unfortunately they don't show K1 here in Canada so any K1 I watch are just highlights off the internet. My favourite fighters in UFC are rich franklin followed by Anderson Silva.
As for participating, I go to muay thai (oldest form of kick boxing) myself three times a week.
Btw, gigg, MMA>Boxing all day, everyday and twice on sundays.

UFC is awesome. I watch it alot and my fav fighter has always been Chuck Lidell, I also like Forrest Griffin tho. Any WEC is good too, Faber is just sick.

Could have sworn it would have been a battle for at least 2 rounds. So has Forrest been seen since he ran out the ring

I watch just about every UFC event and try to catch WEC.
As for participation, I used to train (for fun) a few years ago. Worked in various aspects: boxing, BJJ, muay thai, and judo. Also wrestled on and off for about 8 years. I ended up quitting due to a lack of passion for the sport. I guess I just felt pressured into it (from the beginning) because I grew up around wrestling (best friends brother was a state champion) and I just had natural ability.
I'll be watching UFC 103 tonight. Looking forward to the return of Cro Cop and Belfort.

Not really a big fan but I like seeing attractions, like Brock Lesnar or Kimbo Slice. I really like the older ufcs, less rules and more true MMA. (actual mixing of styles)

(actual mixing of styles) Actually it is closer to true MMA today. As we see fighters that are well-versed in multiple disciplines ("Mixed" Martial Artists). The UFC was originally a one-night tournament in which fighers of different martial-arts backgrounds fought each other. It was one style vs. another. And while there were less rules, the fighters were very limited due to their lack of knowledge (especially of Gracie-BJJ). Now, the sport has evolved to the point where fighters are mastering multiple forms for use in combat. IMO, it has made things much more exciting and dynamic.

yeah, but I'd rather they were still fighting until knockout, stoppage, or submission.
Also, poor cro-cop =(

Either way I found pre Dana White UFc a million times more entertaining but thats a matter of opinion of course.
