The servers 1 through to 28 have offline people in them and when they are online they are never playing conquest anyway. In this situation, I wonder if they're in another server as well (perhaps for another game). For example, they may be in multiple servers / lobby (I believe Mayhem hosted a single game from multiple servers / lobby so I think this may be possible), and don't realize they're still taking taking up place? If this is the case, on top of periodically kicking inactive people, as a host it may be good to also kick active people who aren't actually playing lotr (since they simply may be playing / chatting in another server of an unrelated game, and don't realize they haven't yet officially left the lotr server / room).

no servers are showing up when i try and join a game? It can be a bit confusing (I'm still learning myself), but I believe those hamachi servers are actually more like rooms / lobby. For example once you go to a room, someone will still need to host a server. For instance, a few days ago I went to one of the password protected hamachi room / lobby (LOTR Conquest Server 1), but there were still no servers up. To verify if this is case, you may want to double check with the host (probably John or Mayhem), if they're currently hosting a server when you try to join. If this isn't the reason, you still may need to turn off your firewall or forward the proper ports, which Mayhem had explained. I also want to add that you may have 3 levels of firewalls to consider. To elaborate, there's a typical third party firewall program like Zonealarm that people may have. In addition, there's also a built in firewall in your operating system (like in xp, vista, and 7), and also one more for your modem (this may only apply for certain modems). I assume you already followed steps regarding IP4 and 6 settings.

yes it does work and yes 16 players, if you can find that many online at one time. Since Hamachi only just started there is only 3 or 4 people online at any one time. More people will come in time, they just don't know about Hamachi yet.

MkControl was a nightmare for me. I'm now using the one from www.motionjoy.com/download and with the "Xbox controller emulator" setting, the controls are exactly like they were on the consoles. It doesn't save your configuration though, so you have to select it again every time.

got some specific detail on graphics card requirements underlined in red The computer I'm using meets the Memory requirements but the processor falls short with 2 ghz single core AMD 64. However splashed out on graphics card (Burzum's mentioned graphics card's the key), with a Radeon HD4650, 1GB video ram (doddery AGP variety), probably overkill, but picks up the slack left by the rest of the computer. Leaving a fairly playable game.

I realize this post is really old, but I was wondering if there were still a way to play this. I tried using Hamachi but my server wasn't showing up for my friend.
