Anyone looking forward to this game? I know I am Looks very cool and a bit similar to LOTRC. It is medieval in setting with different classes. One of the interesting things is that you can switch classes while playing if you see there is a need. I'm interested in seeing how cake will be found on the maps and how the reinforcing the castle will work. It could be cool if we could all meet again in that game.

I'm looking forward to Fat Princess. It looks fun in a cartoonish way and has 16 v 16, so could be quite fun. Also the idea of rescuing a large cake eating princess sounds amusing.

I've been looking into fat princess for a while now and i will probably get it. i saw in an interview that a team went all warrior and put thier shields up, just like in 300 and that is a awsome concept.

This game looks awesome and right up my alley, I'm definately picking it up today whenever the PSN updates with it.
Let me know if you guys end up getting it, something about the thought of continuing to bring the pain with me and Strider as little cartoon warriors pulling the tag team sounds hillarious to me.

What I find interesting is that you can feed your princess some cake so that she gets fat and the enemy team has trouble carrying her.
Another interesting twist is that there is the builder class who can fortify the castle defenses.

LOL! And...the warrior class is beastly on FP. That's pretty much all I've playing as. The game is great. Well worth the $15...and I haven't even played it online yet (there seems to be some issues - as it was just released). It might look like a kiddie game from the outside, but there's a lot of strategy involved. I'd say even more so than LOTRC. Not only that, but there is a campaign mode, gladiator mode, and mess-around (practice) mode)...on top of the online. All in all, the game is awesome and a lot of fun; thus far. GET IT!

Well, I finished up the campaign mode, but I haven't gone online yet. I had quite a bit of fun, except maybe in the last level. That level in general just seems so bad. Being restricted completely by the tides while carrying the princess with the entire enemy team on your back wasn't very fun...
But, anyway, class impressions:
-Didn't play the mage very much, but they don't seem that great. It doesn't seem like the fire does that much damage even when charged, so they don't look that useful.
-Priests can be very versatile once upgraded, since they can heal themselves while doing considerable damage, and switch to party support at any time.
-Rangers seem a bit too strong, imo. Since you can back-pedal as fast as you normally walk, rangers can basically stay away from approaching enemies indefinitely. Their arrows shoot really fast and do good damage, especially when charged. The shotgun isn't too good, but the refire rate can be shortened by switching weapons twice immediately after you shoot (switching cancels the lag and you can switch back before you'd normally be able to shoot again. It's possible to shoot your bow once during this process as well).
-Warrior seems like a very solid class. Coupled with a priest, I can imagine them doing some serious damage. I tend to prefer the original class, though, since you have a bit more defense and the charge attack is easier to hit with.
-There have been points that I was on the verge of saying that the worker was broken, no joke. I don't think it's that bad right now, but he's definitely a very good class. Obviously, he's the only class that can build all the things you'll need to win, but he's also a solid fighting force once he's upgraded. The bombs do some serious damage and are great for crowds. But what makes him so great is that he's useful in almost any situation. He runs faster than normal classes, which makes him a great choice for carrying the princess or cake to the other princess. He can hold his own in a fight, he can create the catapult, and he can make the invasion of the castle so much easier in most levels with various things he can build. He also destroys the castle gates like no one's business. Seriously, give them a few hits and they're gone.
