Nice review Joppi. I will probably download it this weekend (tonight if I decide to stay home).

From your reviews the Fat Princess sounds like fun, I think I'll have to go out & get it. Question though is it in stores or download from Playstation store?

I'm not sure it's in stores. I know that it can be downloaded from PS store for about 15 dollars.

It's a download-only game for $15.

Wait a sec.... This game's only for PS3. Sounds interesting but I guess I can't get it.

So, has anyone gone online yet? I've been having a lot of fun today whenever I managed to get into a game. The teamwork possible with real players just makes this game so so much more worth it.
So, Strider, Starscream, anyone else who has downloaded the game, want to play tomorrow or something? It'd be a blast to have a dedicated squad to bring some Middle Earth rapeage to Fat Princess.

Online is great. I mean, sometimes it's kinda 50/50 if you end up on a stupid team, but you really don't even need communication to know how to get things done. I really like the way it distributes points for things besides kills or just objectives, like how you get points for healing and chopping wood. I've been points leader twice now by a large margin just playing the worker the whole game and harvesting/repairing/feeding without killing a single guy.
Strider and I were in the same game for a while yesterday, though it is kind of hard to tell who's who and stick together in the clusterfuck of battle. I'm down whenever you wanna play, though. Fortunately it's really easy to join a game a friend is already in.

I have to say tit's an adults game dressed in an animated guise... I mean look at the blood and gore.
I've been playing online since finishing the campaign and it's much more interesting playing other people.
I'm most impressed with the different classes, especially when they're upgraded. Trying to build your hat machines while trying to staying alive is a challenge in itself, let alone trying to capture other bases and kill people. My only moan about online play is trying to load a game - it takes a fare bit of time but once it loads it's all good... and you can vote the next map - something LOTR should have had.
I also like the little ranks you get as your score increases. I think mine is at sergeant... whatever that means.

Does this have multiplayer/coperative? Is it split screen? I'd like another game my wife can play alongside. Dont prefer splitscreen. Baldurs Gate, Gauntlet, etc. are games she likes. She was indifferent to LOTR....

No offline Multiplayer, unfortunately.

It has single player and multiplayer modes. But, to my knowledge, there's no split-screen. Based on the games you listed, she would probably like Fat Princess.

I bought the game and played it for an hour......and seemed to get no where. Neither team seemed to make advancements.
Has anyone actually seen a winner yet? We got no where close......
It was fun just the same.....

I started playing the story up to chapter 6 (the level with lava) which gave me problems for a while. The computer controlled characters don't really stick with you so it makes it hard to invade the opposing castle. I finally succeeded after building the catapult and having the luck of having computer characters follow me in it. We catapulted directly into the enemy castle and got the princess.
It does look like it will be more fun online but I want to complete the story mode before I go.
