Thank you. THANK. YOU. I am so happy to see a post like that. You got me the right way: I made a gross generalization and you called me out on it. You're right. I'm surprised you're doing it, but hey congrats.
I would point out, though, that when companies have proper protection in place it becomes very hard to hack them. Nothing is impossible, and due to the constantly evolving nature of technology counterhacking measures will always be one small step behind the hackers (and the laws will be even further back). The thing is, Sony made it easy because they did not protect the information that was stolen correctly, and in this case if they had they probably would not have been hacked.
I think this paragraph from the end of your article sheds more light on the subject:
There's a difference between the way the way Google was hacked and the way Sony was hacked.

Thats your opinion and big companies usually ALWAYS get hacked sooner or later because hackers make it a priority

There are evil people in this world with the sole purpose of there life is to make other peoples life hard. They are the hackers, haters, politicans, and the ignorent. It makes some peoples day to see another person struggle.Thats how they get there kicks off.little do they know though is what goes around comes around 10 times harder. Then when it comes back around on they ass they want mercy or pitty.lol.Those hackers should be brought up on federal charges with the judge throwing the book at they ass.Sony should make an example out of them.I dont blame sony.i blame the hacker that took time out of his life to fuck shit up for everyone that plays on the playstation network.True psn should have protection and probably did.But in these days and times any thing can get hacked by a cumputer wiz dick head.i mean anything from the pentagon to my fucking cell phone.we just need tougher laws for these computer crack heads then maybe they will stop.killa out

O.K. BM, I didn't want to make it sound as if you wouldn't have been aware of that, I just call it general caution. But I would not go so far to say that all corporately owned news channel whatsoever, as you call it, are the same. Fox is some steps above, plus it's impossible to top the lack of objectivity of this moronic channel. It's almost spewing even more pathetic rumours and gossip than any autocratic system, literrally. Btw, you've been right I didn't read any setence at all, although I'm a PS3 owner, but I don't care as much as most of you about it. either it runs or it doesn't .

Can you cite some cases of other companies being hacked and users' financial data being stolen?
I think your list is too short. Who do you think owns the politicians? The elite wealthy few who own everything and who run corporations like...wait for it...Sony.
It didn't.
I agree that Fox is the standard bearer for bias in journalism, and occasionally some of the other news channels have something decent. I recommend you look into some alternative news sources, like Democracy Now for example (democracynow.org), then you'll understand what I mean about pretty much all corporately owned news stations being the same in the type of reporting they do. It's like the difference between Democrats and Republicans - superficial (they all get their campaign contributions from the same group of people, and vote for their interests before the interests of their constituents).

Also, to everyone saying companies get hacked, it's not their fault it is the hacker's fault - I AGREE. But that's not what happened here. None of you are taking account the difference between a company securing information correctly being hacked, and a company not securing information correctly being hacked.
