Well that's good, because as fun as it is to poke you and watch you squeal, in this case it would only be a distraction from the topic which I think deserves the attention more.

Just read that psn is still on hold in Japan because Sony still hasn't completely instated all the security measures it promised (according to the Japanese government). I don't think Sony would be stupid enough to restart psn without being reasonably sure of being protected from another attack, and I hope nothing happens, but I am happy at least one government is holding Sony accountable. www.foxbusiness.com/industries/2011/05/15/japan-restart-sony-online-games-services-approved/

Choice of two free games (out of a handful to choose from). Not too bad. Does it make up for having your identity stolen? Well, I guess combined with the free year of identity protection it's something. The kid in me is soothed (read: distracted) by two games, but when I think of it objectively the whole thing still leaves a bitter taste. I think they should still get some sort of legal punishment. Oh, and a few more games to choose from wouldn't have hurt either (or how about 120 bucks in credit or something, let us spend it however we want).

Here's an interesting thought; if the hacker(s) offered you two free games would you be equally forgiving?

What kind of question is that BM? ? hackers are haters and only think about themselves, and even big software companies get hacked so don't blame sony while they are trying there best to make up to their customers by giving away 2 free games(when is playstation store going to be available???)

You don't need to tell me. I got a tip for you too: all corporately owned news networks suck. It's all gossip news and nothing substantial, and even when something important does happen that is too big for them to ignore, they still spin and cover the sensational ratings drawing aspects and not the core issues. Why? Well because true news coverage would expose things which run counter to the interests of the billionaires who own the cable networks. Plus, real news doesn't attract as many viewers = less advertising money.
Still, you can't dismiss an article or news story based on its source alone. That would be unfair and just as biased as Fox is famous for being. So rather than saying not to trust Fox, why don't you examine the content of the article?

Sony are haters and only think about themselves. Big software companies DO NOT get hacked, actually, because they follow the law and protect sensitive information with comprehensive and up to date security. That's why Sony being hacked was such a big story. Sony, I believe, was criminally negligent, which caused them to be hacked. I think the two free games is just a gimmick to sooth the masses, like giving a baby a pacifier. The free year of identity protection was a good idea and I approve of it. The only thing I still want to see is Sony being made an example of by either the government or the legal system so that a clear message will be sent that companies ignoring the law and endangering their customers will not be tolerated.

how do you know he didnt examine it? Doesn't matter if he did or didn't. The only point he made in his post was that "Fox sucks." That is, he commented on the source, not on the content of the article. Try harder john.
