I'd be in (If there weren't too many people online). But yeah, that would be a REAL way to end Conquest!

it be interesting to see if E.A was able to crossover the servers ive never seen you guys fight before so i wouldnt know lol but saying that you use hero's in clan matches tells how your team works

I'm comfortable starting anyone on my team that shows up, but that's because we only have, like, 10 active people left so it's not like we would have much of a choice, lol. It would be awesome though. Too bad it's just a dream

no hero rule is because it creates imbalances among the teams. You're trying to create as level a playing field as possible, not to give one side an advantage that the other side simply doesn't have access to. Like pellenor (legolas vs witch king) or minas tirith (gandalf vs witch king), etc.
There's no reason to play the game "as is" if you can make it more balanced through the implementation of a few simple rules. You have to remember that the game developers are far from perfect, and playing according to their "vision" isn't necessarily the best option.

yes. Without jump canceling mages would get completely owned by everyone. Even as it is they have a hard time surviving as nowadays one axe hit from a good warrior and you're done, or one satchel bomb from a really good scout, or just multishots at close range.

I forgot you claim mages aren't good and everyone owns them.

you don't understand how much no jump canceling would gimp mages.
Basically lightning would suck too much to use, leaving the mages with only two attacks - firewall and shockwave. While those two are quite powerful, they need time to recharge, and once the mage fires those two shells they're fucked. And everyone already knows how to bait out and dodge shockwave, and to dodge or minimize damage from firewall.
If they even tried to lightning with no canceling they become sitting ducks, waiting for every mediocre archer in sight to headshot them 3 times. Or for a backstab or shoulderbash or ANYTHING.

Lol that's what kept happening to my mage during the demo days, before i saw anyone use jump canceling, the enemy warriors would slap me around. I quickly went back to playing mostly archer and warrior. Hmm It'd be interesting if anyone could find out all the differences between the lotrc demo and retail version and post them. For example,is it just me,or did the archers kick almost always hit its mark, whereas now it barely hits ;(

Jump canceling isn't that difficult to understand. When i first played the game i realized probably after about 2 deaths from a warrior that lightning left me exposed. Common sense told me to use lighting bolt then jump quickly after. There is so many noobs in lotr that believe that it's such a ground breaking move to be discovered but it really is a matter of being trash at whats going on in games or not.
