Wasn't there some large battle type game that kinda looked like lotr (it even had troll like creatures and stuff)?
I seem to remember a trailer or something for it, and there was a huge battlefield sort of reminiscent of the area in front of the wall of helm's deep, and there was just two armies fighting.
Damn it, it feels like something out of a dream, but I'm pretty sure it was a real game that hadn't come out yet or something.

Yea it's Kingdom Under Fire 2:
This may turn some people off, I think the company may include a monthly subscription plan similar to an MMO.
This certainly isn't quite as epic, but I'm also anxiously waiting for Under Siege by Seed Studios (a PSN game released in 2 or 3 months):
Like Kingdom Under Fire, it's a real time strategy game and set in a medieval / fantasy setting, but there's no monthly cost.

hmm, kingdom under fire 2, will it have multiplayer? looks very similar to lotr, i think the archers were elves also

Despite the large battles, I think multiplayer is 2 vs 2 max. Since in addition to the hero, you'll be controlling or giving commands to several A.I. units.

KUF2? i hope not, i'd rather buy it for ps3 Listed as an Xbox 360/PC title. Looks like a pretty interesting game. Though, as Rizen stated, the game mechanics are quite different from LotRC - it's an action-RTS (not purely action-hackNslash). |

It actually can hold upto 15 vs 15 on some maps and the online world will be an MMO. I've followed it for sometime.

you controlled a hero and a group of soldiers in the previous games and two other captains that you could attack and stuff with but not control hero, those games were pretty cool. lightening leveled up was awesome easy to kill humans with metal armor

LMFAO i think me and oneshot were drunk the other day yelling about KUF, we kept saying the word KUF and oneshot kept trying to get me to bye it, and im like NEVA!!!!! (in the never voice)
