I don't use the "rolling" technique too often unless i am close to scoring... Truth be told I don't have enough coordination to roll around the whole time, I make myself dizzy...lol So I usually use my cloak and go invisible or I jump and zig-zag to keep the pesky archers from killing me 
Doesn't work half the time, So i try not to get the ring that often, I rather just backstabb the people who are in the ring bearers way ;D
