"what maps would those be?" This is the kind of shit that pisses me off because it shows you haven't read anything (i.e. you're damn ignorant) and yet still post with such obnoxious confidence.
I suggest you go back and read some of my earlier posts.
And archers are not complete crap at close range at all. Multishot will take care of mages, scouts are a joke, and warriors are fucked if the miss with the axe because fire arrow to poison arrow at close range is just as effective as at long range. They can hold their own, even if they might not an advantage they don't have any big disadvantages. Meanwhile what crusader said holds true: they can attack anyone at any distance without being attacked back, and they can kill in one shot.
But forget all that, I just wish you would respond to my criticisms of your experiment and explain why you insist on doing it when it has absolutely no value in determining which class is better.

I explained myself already , I don't respond to every little thing you say, what's the difference any way? Youre so biased at this point it doesn't matter what I've said , I tried ending this but you keep going. I really don't care anymore . I don't have respect for people who don't show any. All you do is dish out insults and you want me to listen to you? Maybe I would bother debating if you stoped acting like a jack ass. Either way It's clear you don't to make peace . Just go have a flame war with irule, he seems to enjoy more then I do

Yeah, I guess it is a "little" thing when I challenge your entire method of obtaining "proof."
Nice, you once again completely avoid the issue. What's the difference? The difference is you can't debate so you just dodge legit points by trying to go off on tangents.

Valuable as in, they're nice to have around. The healing, shield, and firewall are all very useful tools for the team. I threw the 'maybe' in there for a reason. The killing power and the ability to strike/defend from a distance, make the Archer a candidate for most valuable as well. On the surface, it appears that the mage is a no-brainer for most valuable. But once examined, it's not so cut and dry. Ultimately, I think this is an argument that cannot be won or lost. It's just opinion. No amount of testing or debating will prove one side over the other. I completely agree. The simple fact is when two people believe they are right an argument will come out. Both parties want to convince the other into their way of thinking. In reality its not about who is better between mages and archers but whos idea is correct or which idea is better (hanz vs BM) this goes into the master/slave dialectic ive recently been discussing. but look at it this way you know how some racing games have ghost cars which is pretty much you played the level and the computer recorded what you did in ceirtain situations. With that in mind what if lotr had a similar concept. Could you beat yourself? as a Mage? as an Archer?( assuming that all 8 players on both teams are you and your ghost clones) if you can answer that maybe you guys will get a lil closer. on a side note if lotr had ghost data the player qualtiy would be freaking awsome lol

If you're so convince of this then why do you keep excepting? If you truly believe I am incapable of debating then aren't you just being a major asshole repeating over and over again?

The only reason why I think it may be close is I'm pretty good archer, just below the elite level, and I'm a slightly above average mage. If the fight gets close It's all about getting that head shot, if the archer messes up the mage can heal and then it's pretty much unless the mage is a.really bad, or b.the archer has enough of a steady hand to figure off another possible head shot. Archer's do have potential to be amazing, I just think that the really amazing ones are played be so few people it renders the class some what less then a mage.

If you could you would, and seeing as you seem unable to, why do you keep putting yourself in situations where you would be expected to? Don't voice your opinion if you aren't prepared to defend it.

lol debating 101: never let the other side unnerve you. The moment you show youve been incited is the moment you make mistakes =D.
make sure what your debating about is understandable to the people your agaisnt. Your train of thought is different from the next person since we live in a diverse world

Shows how little you know me actually, find of funny. It's also funny how you decide to quote such a small part of what I said and ignore the rest pretty much responding to such a small part of what I said and the part you decided to respond is pretty much irrelevant compared to the main point I was trying to make.

on the contrary, my point covers everything else you said by default.[/quote I'm actually a pretty good debater, the second someone has to resort to insults makes just uninteresting in respecting anything they say and just reply based on my emotions instead of putting any effort towards the actual debate, that's just the way it is. I don't what you think, the people who know me in real life know and respect and more importantly like me, and that's what important I think.

if you were a good debater you would have been able to address my points instead of avoiding them. You should take your own advice, since while I may insult I respond to points when they are made, you just insult and duck points you have no answer for.
Heck, if you were even a halfways decent debater you would read posts before saying stupid shit that begs the other person to repeat themselves, which is utterly unnecessary.
And if any of that burns it's not because I'm trying to insult you, it's because it's true.

yeah ok. So you can't come up with counterpoints to my argument. I guess that's it then.
