im not to sure how people would come up with the rules for this but ill put on my ideal 1on1 ruleset to see if we can try to standardize it( so it can be accepted by the community)
1vs1's will be held in TDM
Class specific (mage vs mage, scout vs scout, ect)
Types of matches :
[glow=red,2,300]QuickMatches[/glow] first to 5 (abb QM)
[glow=yellow,2,300]MediumMatches[/glow] first to 10 (abb MM)
[glow=green,2,300]LongMatches[/glow] first to 15 (abb LM)
There is one more type of match which is the [glow=blue,2,300]All Classes Match[/glow](abb ACM) which is a series of four Shortmatches one for each class character
if someone declares an ACM they must discuss with the other person the order in which they pick their characters
(ex my order would be Archer, Warrior, Scout, Mage)
once you choose your order you cannot change your character class until that class has died 5 times.
(ex once my archer died 5 times Id switch to Warrior)
Furthermore 1vs1 matches should have 2 witnesses, one on each side to spectate the match.
If 1on1's are not held in freind servers, similar to my case where for some reason I cant find freind servers and if I create people cant find them, and a random player enters the fight try to ask them to leave the room if they dont the match will be continued in another room with the kills taken down by both witnesses( furthermore if the person is an ass and they follow you two the match will be placed on hold and they are to be epicly GB'ed untill they leave the room.
ill also be adding on a separate topic squad match rules (3vs3/4vs4)

There's no need for witnesses unless there is a trust issue.
There's also no reason 1v1s have to be class specific. They can be, if you want, but there's nothing wrong with just having a first to 15 whatever class you want, and you can change class at any time.
1v1s aren't really complicated enough to need rules. You just choose how many kills to play to and what class(es).

Ive played alot of 1v1 matches.All of them was played in a mix server.We play on the bridge on the conquest stage.We always fight on the bridge and you cant run off the bridge unless you are about to chat somthing.Ive tried to play on a tdm but someone always join.Thats why i play a mix server.Mainly the ones at the bottom of the list.That way we want be interrupted.Players dont seem to join that much on those.We do 15 kills with warrior,20 kills with mage.10 with archer and scout.Even though we play on a conquest sever its still easy to keep up with the score by simply pressing select during the game to see the score.I even train players if they need help with a class.i have a few i play 1v1 everyday for that purpose.They call on me becouse they see me kicking ass.1v1 is my thing.ill fight anybody in any class.So nexsus you need to step up and fight me instead of making up all these stupid ass threads with dumb ass topics you got spreaded all over the site.Have you even fought 1v1 against anyone while you in here talking about rules.Im the 1v1 man.Ive been that every since i joined this site.Ive fought some of the best and worst.So with that said killa is out.

Ive tried to get a match with you quite some time ago and when I asked you how we were supposed to do it you never responeded (btw i never delete my mail so if you want a referance to it i can show you) I dont mind going one on one with you when im on, Of course if it was warriors only I wouldnt challenge you for the cup you guys keep trading (in the small chance I win I dont want to be hounded by people OMGZ i wANTS tO fiGHT you. (feels sorry for broly). Other than BM (amon hem attempt and osgiliath but someone always came in to interupt) i havent really done 1on1s with anyone but i have gotten a request for one from mat xD ill have to get around to that sometime FYI this is a forum so people are supposed to make topics? Ive spent more time playing the game than actually posting topics which i usually do during my the extra time i get in between classes ( Proboards take forever to load at home for some reason so i try to stay from creating stuff then) but you usually do TMD right killa ill add you and hopefully we can get something up xD There's also no reason 1v1s have to be class specific. The reason for the standards was to get a general idea on how people do 1vs1. the other day i had an interesting convo with broly and ended up saying something like afro samuri where only the no2 could fight the no1 in a 1on1 (creating order from chaos xD) to then be able to set a similar system. (lol by the way yesterdays bs was screwy it felt like that troll ent skywalker thing and sorry about making ya suicde xD) |
