Well the good news is that not only is Best Buy giving me a brand spankin new ps3 that's three times smarter than my old one, complete with a new 2 year replacement plan, but they are actually paying me to take it!!! Cuz I'm cool like that.. ;D The bad news however is that it's taking FOREVER... I turned the old one in yesterday and they're saying maybe I can get the new one back tomorrow... But the Really Bad News is that my old playstation isn't giving up without a fight... I always knew my playstation was evil (it's true. ask Untow). But it turns out that it's so evil that's it's actually been reaching out and killing the new playstations that they try to hook it up to! Now they're telling me that they might not be able to do the data transfer afterall! Which means I might lose my saved game data, my downloads (many of which I paid for ), my friends list which just hit 100, and my very identity itself!!! The geek squad members on site were not qualified to deal with demonically possessed playstations, so they were waiting for the Super Geek who's going to come in tomorrow to battle the beast. Hopefully Super Geek is up to the task... Cross your fingers! Anyway, as a result, it looks like I probably won't be able to make it to whatever clan showdown might be happening tomorrow. At least nobody should count on it. Hopefully I'll at least get back for some Saturday Slaughtering later on, but I might not be the same cat-tooth I used to be...

oh my hahaha. Your PS3 truly IS evil. Must be all that PORN on your HD A data transfer isn't that hard. I'm not that technically minded and managed to back up my original 80gig HD, replace and format a 320 gig HD and then restore my original data to the new HD. Tell them to watch it on you tube And you shouldn't lose your list. You'll just lose messages, patches and downloads

....... about seven hours in, the Super Geek called to give an update on how the battle was going. He characterized the daylong ordeal as a "rollar coaster ride." About five hours later I received another call from one of his allies informing me that while Super Geek eventually had to retreat, he had weakenend the monster enough for the rest of the Geek Squad to finish it off... and the procedure had been a success!!! So three and a half days after my original visit I was finally able to come and pick up my new playstation! I regretted not being able to congratulate the Super Geek in person on his epic win, but I nonetheless thanked his subordinate and advised him to take the creature's remains out behind Best Buy and burn them before they leaked their evil onto anything else... I had my own share of roadblocks once I finally managed to get my new baby home, but once we got better aquainted I found that the geeks had been true to their word. While they had mischieviously switched my name to "geek squad" I managed to switch it back and after snooping around a bit managed to locate most of my stuff, as well as where to reacquire the rest so, in short... I'M STILL ME!!! HOORAY!!! ;D ;D ;D

Lol you mean other than demonic possession?? It froze up. It wouldn't connect to hardly anything. Most importantly it didn't have enough memory. I had to exaggerate how evil it was to justify trading it in (they won't take it unless there's something wrong with it). As for what trouble the Geek Squad had with it, you'd have to ask them. It was all Geek to me!
