Koontz has good stuff. A manga series I'm enjoying a lot right now is Gantz. I also like ID_entity which is about a MMO.

I use to be into Greek Mythology because of Hercules the legendary journeys, and I thought his dad was pimp Then I took an actual Greek mythology course . Lets just say his family isn't off limits. Yeck

Well ya those Greek Gods were all into the family love thing, uh um ewwww that's nasty!!! I still am fascinated by all different cultures creation myths. Ima history/sociology nerd!

Mind you still interesting, just not as before my eyes were open. Though there is this one part I learned I liked. When Zeus came after Poseidon's(I believe that's his brother) daughter, Poseidon was all hell no , one less conquest for Zeus ;D

I enjoy mythology too. I want to learn more about the australian aboriginal one. I know it has to do with dreaming and the Ayers rock and cool looking drawings.
I also like African mythology. It can be pretty surprising.
I also need to learn more about Louisiana folklore and things like Cotton Eyed Joe and bayou stuff.

Oh I almost forgot... The bartimaeus trilogy, the first book being the amulet of samarkand(sp?) It has the best ending EVER
