Long story short the university will be giving me a laptop i am 95 percent certain this one: Toshiba Satellite Pro C650-197 I have been looking at the minimum specs of lotrC and the specs for my laptop and I have no clue if it will run or not. If anyone would be happy to see if it will run for me, that would be ace. If it won't run - the most likely I may have the oppertertunity to get a better laptop (with me playing the extra cost). Here is the link to the specs; uk.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=216776286Also it will be with windows 7, which I checked and is compatible with LOTRC I presume it will be fine with tunngle. Another question I will be in halls (university buildings or whatever there called) will that be ok for playing on tunngle?

Already I can see that your processor is a bit low. Conquest requires a 2.4Ghz processor and this comp has a 2.26

Looks good to me, Will. The only thing I'm not sure about is that the graphics adapter spec mentions something about "shared memory". I'm guessing that means you don't have any dedicated RAM for graphics (they really pack these laptops tight, eh?). I wouldn't worry about the processor. The game runs on my old 2.2GHz single-core (!) PC with an Nvidia 7800 (bare minimum recommended card) and it's playable with a little bit of graphics lag, occasional crashes and graphics detail turned down to low = hello FOG. P.S. I bet the laptop gets hot though

Thanks also I will look into Getting better graphics but as I'm aware you can't upgrade laptop graphics or can you? Unfortunately not. It's the only thing holding my laptop back. D: Also, with the fog, just turn Culling Quality up to High. It might lag you a bit more than usual, but it's worth it to be able to see the whole stage.
