I happened to stumble onto a sad story where a couple of our fellow LOTR alumni had to trade in some of their other games to get newer releases - only to realise the new release wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
Also someone (who shall remain nameless) told me how they wanted a copy of a recently released title but was unable to afford it.
If it wasn't for the fact I know people who can get me new releases at ridiculously discounted prices (RDR and Transformers for $10 each!) I too could well be in this predicament of gamer welfare. However, we must do something to assist our less fortunate gamers so I propose starting up a gamer's fund to help those in need.
I will kick in $1,000 monopoly dollars if someone else is able to match my donation. All currencies accepted!
Lets work together to prevent instances like this happening again.
