Right, but you are very young so you wouldn't understand. I was referring to the game of the year awards it won at the time, not speaking from personal experience. The point was the series of books is good enough to prompt the creation of a video game that won awards at the time.

I have also read alot of the Tolkien books: The Silmarillion, Unfinished tales, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight The Histories of Middle Earth(2 books of this series) The Hobbit The Lotr trilogy I also have the Tolkien Encyclopedia. This book is great, It explains so many details of the world of LOTR I absolutely love Tolkien. I am a big fan of fantasy themed books Its because of his stories that I chose my Psn name Lady-Luthien after Elven princess Luthien Tinuviel.

while I agree, I did feel that the movies did a damn fine job of adapting the text, especially compared to the way other book to movie franchises are handled.

book to movies usually end up missing important bits.
take angels and demons for example.
book is well better than the film. same with harry potter

Agreed bountyhunter most of the times books are far more detailed then movies. I think sometimes books allow your imagination to take over far more then when you see it on a screen your imagination is limited to what you see, with a book your imagination is limitless!

No, it is a book series written by Robert Jordan, Its about how a man, Who has a magic of sorts has to fight basically an evil god. However, Robert Jorden died, and the series is getting completed by another author. Hope this helped
