Soooo, I just discovered the far camera angle (NOOB - I know) and I think it's infinitely better than the standard view. I tried it out last night and I felt like I was playing a new game. Better late than never, I guess... :\
Anyone else have an opinion? What do you like better Far or Standard?

Haha me and pookz had the same thing happen to us I realy do feel like a real noob lol. For scout it a definite improvment. Warrior I'm not shore, there are improvments of using the far camera better awareness etc, but I feel from a distance you lose some of your deadliness I was trying it all yesterday ( including clan fight) but for instance. It's much harder to hit axes in near view I don't have to spend much time aiming if at all, while in far u kinda have to aim more as it was much harder to hit axe, which kinda ruins a Warriors charge.

For me is better the standar, bcuz when i use scout (the scout melee range is pathetic) i have to be really careful to not miss any attacks or hit in the wrong way bcuz that could be my dead, example if i hit a mage with special light attack (l1 + [ ] ) and i want to finish him i have 2 options: 2 quick light attacks or use the special medium attack (l1 + ^), if the mage is not close enough i cant do the 1st option bcuz the mage can heal or/and shockwave, but if i do the 2nd option i miss power from my energy bar and that can be crucial, thats y i need the standar camera to have a better view in 1on1 situation
EDITED:
I forgot to say before hit the mage with the special light attack, i need to hit the mage whit a satchel

Ive used far camera since day one on all classes. Only downside is trees block your view when your under them more.

when i mainly used scout a while ago far camera gives you an advantage in seeing enemy scouts when they come behind you. of course it only gives you a split second in moving away from a backstab
( always plays in far camera)

I used the far camera since the start as well. Only of late have I begun to experiment using close camera.

in the end I suppose it's a matter of personal preference.
I just like seeing more behind me.
