Since there seems to be a clash of interest, this is how we'll resolve the issue.

I think there should be (obviously). Organization is nice, it makes it easier to find what you want to find. If you're trying to find a topic about Conquest, look in the Conquest forum. If you want to find some off-topic, look in the off-topic forum. Obviously, it doesn't matter much now that we only have like six active members and like ten topics, but once the other 30 members realize they've registered for a forum, I imagine we'll be seeing a lot more activity, and a lot more topics to sort through. Separating On-Topic and Off-Topic stuff just seems like a natural choice.

I agree with joppi because this forum would be like a filing cabinet where you go to the topic you want and post things you want to post without being moderated

there should. when it's just one section people might be confused as to what is allowed, and be hesitant about posting non lotr conquest related stuff.

I think that's the exact reason y we SHOULDN'T seperate them. Because people will be hesitant to post for fear they're posting in the wrong spot. This board has a very good search function that allows you to search both topic titles and individual messages. Better to have to search only one section than 2. Besides, the subject often tends to change with the conversation so things will always end up in the wrong section anyway. You can't predict where conversations we haven't had will go. And we have both sections now and if u didn't notice only the one is getting used. Why would you go to a section where you can only talk about some things when there's a section right below it where you can talk about anything? Let's keep it simple.

If you're trying to find a topic about Conquest, look in the Conquest forum. If you want to find some off-topic, look in the off-topic forum. What's complicated about that? Anybody confused by that needs to graduate Kindergarten before they continue posting. Who cares if the conversation drifts off? Strider isn't a nazi mod like the ones in GameFAQs. You won't be banned if the conversation takes a turn. Just put the topic in the forum corresponding to the subject matter at the beginning, and if it goes off-topic, no one cares.

Pretty much what joppi said. And with organization it's gonna actually be a lot easier to find what you're looking for.

Yes, so we have an OT like forum and a Conquest related forum as well. Organization please This current one is an overflow of both, and very confusing btw. It gets annoying and it would be nice to have a separate place for discussion on different things that either don't or do relate to conquest, depending on which the new one is.
