In A Team Of 8 Mages, All It Takes Is 1 Or 2 Mages To Keep Their Shield Up & Archers Are Useless.
Scouts Are Ineffective As Fireballs Are Being Used All The Time & Warriors Might Stand A Chance, But With All The Healing, Staff Strikes & Fireballs They Would Die Pretty Easily. Then With Mages, The Team Of 8 Mages Would Easily Beat 1 Or 2 Of The Other Teams Mages As Numerous Fireballs Would Be Pretty Deadly.

Scouts are really useful in that situation, you say scouts are inefective that show you dont even know how really play this game, this game is not only skill you need strategy

If You Read What I Say, They Are Ineffective Because Of The Fireballs That Keep Being Used. In A Mage Spam, Fireballs Are The Most Effective Ability To Be Used, So Scouts Can't Backstab You.
I Definitely Know How To Play This Game, I Don't Actually Think I've Seen You Before Though.
I Agree, You Need Strategy As Well As Good Skill.

Exactly, people dont understand the different classes rolls in the game. I used to think 8 mages were all that, but then I learned how to play correctly. I actually even play so much better then I used to. Both as a team & individual player.
IF the entire team are smart TEAM players, mage spam doesnt matter.

Most of the time, people would try to attack a mage spam with little numbers. For example, a mage spam of 5 mages... You shouldn't try to attack with only 2 people. Even when you have enough people to destroy a mage spam, you have to attack at the right time. You can't just rush in - otherwise everyone would not be ready to attack, which results in the mage spammers surviving and countering your mistakes.

Well Coordinated Team? What Classes & How Many Of Each Would That Involve? I Know That I Didn't Do As Well As I Wanted To During That Clan Battle, And That Is My Own Fault. lol communication (mics), knowing evironments (refer to using envorinments thread) knowing how to use environments to reinforce the class that you are using (stairs and warriors, scouts and dark areas, archers and long distances, mages and walled areas/ of the corner) Capturing Key Positions to reinforce your teams position supporting your team members even if it mean being called a kser ( and most great players know the amount of damage to cause before you kill the person/ and only 1 out of every 5 people actually support you in game for me the 1 in every five is ususally redwurd ) throw out the lone hero i can beat anybody by myself because im the shit mentality( its good to be able to handle multiple people by yourself but dont gloat about it all it does is build bad karma lol there are other reasons about this but ima keep going with the other stuff) knowing how to use your class ._. and the weaknesses of the other classes( once your able to adeptly use all classes you can pretty much know how they work and process a way to defeat them and finally a firm and effective leader that can spur teamwork into people no matter how long they have played with him/her tactitians/ strategist are good as well too and half the time you only need 2 or 3 of the above to beat a mage spam( ive done it with less experianced players before so dont say its impossble or annoying to deal with )

good points nexus, but a mage should never want to stay near a corner, a archer maybe, but if a warrior comes at you your fucked half the time if there good, or another mage comes just within your shield and throws a firewall inside it and steps back then bolts, easy kill, mages should stay away from corners, at least if there by themselves

and finally a firm and effective leader that can spur teamwork into people no matter how long they have played with him/her tactitians/ strategist are good as well too might you be referring to me? lol

@bm hehe maybe who knows lol @ cash i didnt mean corners like in the point where two walls intersect but if you use your mini map ( especially if your in rivendell) and your about to take a turn near a corner and you see someone who looks like they will do the same throwing a firewall gives you a high advantage ( predicting how people move in a game) I used to use mage a lot and what i found its not skill in the class but predicting where the next fire wall/shockwave/heal/lightning will be comming from mages. (classic strat for mage fights is a feint) *** in which you will purposely move towards someone knowing that once you move close enough they will launch a shockwave in which you can either do two things. 90% of the time you will back off while they unload a useless shockwave 9% of the time you wont be fast enough to avoid it so you use heal to buff through the shockwave and the following lightning that comes after it and the remaining 1% in which anything but a shockwave is thrown at you but its instinct for this game to use shock/lightning follow up to kill most mages that fall into it*** baiting archers to use up their arrows shots (multi is a priority) and not to heal before they use a poison >< cause it leaves you a sitting duck lol. Then just use lightning cause archers are made of paper( i dont think it builds up their arrow attacks). Warriors are a bit tricky though they have a five second ax recharge but most warriors cant fight mages with the exception of a few (i wont list names cause im pretty sure i wont get everyone but two of the big ones are Burnz and Bm since i learned the 3 weak attacks follow up from bm against mages ) you also have to watch out for the fire spin for if it juggles you in the air it will kill you if the warrior uses the heavy fire attack as a follow up. (i do it all the time lol) really its all about how you can slow down the warrior even though they can evade 70% of fire wall damage if they evade in timeand if you can knock em of their feet other than that its all bout luck and the opponents skill with a warrior Interesting story though i found out that if you use nazgul with max rage you can infinatly attack with the scream and 3 weak follow up rinse/repeat though i do want to test it out later ( effective with gandalfs) same could probably be said about witch king but the huge problem is that you leave yourself open to every other class. but its good for 1vs1 in htdm lol scouts arent as tricky but be warned if you let a scout go he will 90% of the time come and bs you 3 mins later so dont let them go lol ( i do this to people because they let me go) the scout can somewhat evade attacks with his gaurd evasion similar to the warrior but its not as usefull as the warriors i could tell you more indepth about classes as well but i cant be giving all my secrets out for this game ( i dont know about you but you probably wouldnt give out all the things you know about mages to the public)
