All classes have their ups and downs. Mages have relativly low health, and have to get in close to the action in order to kill anyone. If they couldn't heal themselves, then it'd be way to easy to kill them.

I think the mage and archer are perfect, but the scout, and warrior need slight health upgrades. I wonder if it would be a cool idea for the scout and warrior to get a slow health heal when they stand still in one place. This would give both classes a chance to beat someone a second time after there respawn for the point you already earned the first time!(in conquest). Also would promote scout kills, which usually arent that great unless someones awesome.
Nothing is worse then killing with the scout at a wp, only to have that player respawn with a mage and crush you since you cant suprise them or fight them toe to toe if the other players even decent.

Maybe if the mages heal recharge was 8 seconds with or without taking taking damage it would be perfectly (or closer to) balanced.

what might have been a great idea is to make the mages able to heal themselves (same recharge times as now) only when a teamate is around them. This way they only healed when a teamate was healed. Would make the mage a team player class, like it should be.
If scouts had more health, Id put them right with the mage and archer as supreme killers. anyway. There weakness is there over exposed during stabs. Ive gotten the slide stab down now pretty much anytime I want to use it, which helps.

How do you cause it eternal? PM me. Also, If warrior could (Not saying its remotely possible in any game) heal, It would be unstoppable. It takes a barrage of enemies to take down warriors, and chipping down the health until someone kill sit.

I think mages should be able to heal themselves simply becouse they have no armor,cant block.and are very easy to kill.there almost weaker than archers.they have no combo attacks or long range attacks.so i think there heal evens things out since there missing all of that

i was in a tdm once where a mage actually ran away from me ( i was in his team ) just to heal himself. was he suppose to just die with you in the middle field.....why didnt you follow him? Is he your protector for your benifit? Sounds like you played that one wrong man, he probably was down to his last hit and tried to get cover to recover healing. You think those archers dont know to hit the mages?

lol yes mages need heal because it heals the team aswell which is very handy also the have shit health
