It's the cool thing to hate on me. BM made it fashionable to be rude to me and his minions followed suite. I don't think I'm great or the best, I think everything I say is dissected or quoted over and over again, meanwhile others like Demontouch and nighgodbroly can post over and over again Blatantly saying they are awesome, but that's okay. Like I said, some where along the line it became okay to say whatever to me. It's not fashionable to dislike you...and BM doesn't have minions...that's Demon. In fact, I don't agree with everything BM comes forth with. The difference with Demon and Broly is...it's obvious that they're being purposefully over the top. So, no one really takes them seriously. We can just laugh about the things they type. However, I don't think it's right that you should become alienated around here. I don't have a problem with you (as a person)...just some of the things you've typed. I think we all need to let go of the drama and just agree to disagree. Everyone is allowed to have their opinion and no one should feel like theirs isn't important. We left Gamefaqs because of Nazi-like rule enforcement and this place needs to remain a haven of free thought and expression. I will apologize again...if anything I typed came out wrong. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to remain civil around here. And...I certainly don't want anyone to feel censored or like they're unable to speak their mind.

I have defended Hanz before and I will do it again, he does have skill. That has to be reconized. Whether or not if he is a super elite omg player like the Demon ( just bc I can say anything), it doesnt matter. I like having him on my team or fighting against him. He is fun to kill more than any thing but he still have the skill to kill all of us in a full match.
I rather die to a named player then get tagged by a noob
Now Hanz I have challenged you several times fight me...

I can't speak for anyone else, but I never said Hanz was a bad player - I said he was good. So, I don't know where this came from. This thread is about jump-canceling as a mage.

Well I know there are a lot of mages who don't JC and they are just as deadly so it really is a user preference. The main bone of contention seems to revolve around the question as to rather it is considered cheap. E-2010 for example is a very powerful mage who claims not to use JC. I would be curious to get his (or others) take on his mage opponents who are constantly hopping around. Are they harder or easier to kill? Do they frustrate you? Would you consider using it yourself?

E-2010 jump-cancels. I've played with him plenty of times.
I've never ran into a non-JC'ing mage that I couldn't kill with relative ease.
So, from my experiences...the mages who are constantly moving and who jump-cancel are the tougher opponents. However, it takes much more than simply jump-canceling to become a great mage player.

Im constantly moving as a mage. JC sounds ridiculous if I get understand this debate right, asides from the people arguing like a bunch of high school drama queens.
Mages have to constantly move because they seem to be a target for backstabbing scouts. It also helps you cause other mages will miss you more and other archers cant hit you as easy.
For those xbox360 players that have played Halo, that's probably where this very effective tactic came from.

What up Juice! I see you on the battle field all the time. Good to have you here. I guess it's hard to argue the fact that a mage in constant motion is harder to hit than one thats not as mobile. The most dangerous mages in the game use it so there's something to be said about it's effectiveness.

Again..... E-2010 never jump cancels. And yeah Strider I played with u loads of times and killed u loads of times but I don't ever use JC, ur just easy to dodge. Recently I just found out what JC was. I ain't cheap like the Bulgarian and Demon guys. JC pisses me off

Fair enough E, but in your opinion what makes it cheap? Do jumping mages kill you in a way that you feel is not legit?

Yeah they kill me I feel it's a lil unfair since I'm the only one not doin it. Matches like those I'd either quit or play as support Mage healing all of my teammates and guarding em. Makes me feel a lil satisfied when I luckly kill the Mages who JC

It's not unfair because you can do it too, you just stubbornly choose not to, and as long as you don't JC you'll be at a perpetual disadvantage.

I played a match with u earlier Bulgarian and I left it. I wasn't impressed. Killed u maybe once only because u were hoppin around like a freakin jack rabbit. U wouldn't be as much of a threat if u didn't use JC. I don't mind being killed so I have no need to use that lame ass tactic

whatever you say. I'll beat your mage with my warrior any day of the week. Won't have to jump cancel for that.
