i was in the dlc doing a scout only battle, and i was doing very well for the class i rack up kills the slowest, until wottesworthgurl got in a troll. that was some while back, but i still wonder why i did so good as a scout vs 3 other scouts who were all good players, yet i cant get melee kill a single warrior in 1 v 1 battles.

You cant attack directily a warrior in a 1on1 its completly different from a 1on1 with scout, use alot of satchel and confuse the warrior with your roll, in any moment he is gonna make a mistake and you can attack, make him lose his fire power dodging and be careful with the crowd breaker and axes because hurt you alot, but to kill him fast just backstab him its hard but not impossible

Jenaez is right. You gotta be fast and feinting. I know this phrase is all too appropriate, but cloak and dagger strategy is the way to go. Misdirection, infiltration, and stealth are key for a scout in all situations.

What I do, is satchel bomb someone, then walk towards them, after they see me, put on my cloak. They expect me to backstab them by standing over their dead body, but I sit on the front of them(albiet a little away, in case they decide to use triangle, firewall, or multishot). When they use the getting up strike, use a backstab. It's a matter of balance. Use a backstab whenever you can, but don't be afraid to use melée. Suicide backstabs are stupid as well, unless it's to piss the person off, they're a threat to your team, or for a hero.

warriors can be melee'd without much difficulty (unless it's an exceptionally good warrior - and even they may lose patience). it's primarily an opportunistic battle - you have to capitalize on their errors & bait them into erring.
rolling, bombs & immobilization are key. most will become frustrated to the point of recklessly attacking, which only makes things progressively easier.
of course backstabbing works as well, but where's the fun in thaaat.

yeah, scout is a class of which it takes practice and ability to learn different attacks upon certain situations.. the backstab is most powerful move the scout has, any arguments?. tho it depends on the mode, but you would usually try to take out shielding mages to get the opposing team sustainable to damage.. if you have any help with you just throwing your satchel bomb to nock down an enemy(may be more effective than backstab at times) or more so your team can attack them while an opportunity has opened. tho don't underestimate melee, it can take a mage or archer quite effectively.. if you have a team oriented or some one playing by your side just string a melee combo long enough to stun or occupy an enemy could be or should be long enough for them to not survive.. you don't have to be afraid of dying as long as your death helped your team advance the objective, its all good lol...
