Hey Broly, just curious, what method do you choose to take out a mage the fastest? BTW, your last post was hilarious. ;D

Sirini are you sure you can't just play the game every once in a while? We're missing you in Middle Earth, dude.

Thanks Broly, cheers! Any other warriors want to share their Mage busting strategy, this is the place to do it.

A mage with is shield up is a dead mage. They can be slow and predictable. Run up, they drop their shield, poke em with an axe, the rest is easy. The shock attack is slow and telegraphed and easily blocked. I think they are surprised when you don't go flying off and instead kill them.

*As srini drinks Broly pokes a hole in his neck & drinks his beer* killing a mage depends on how much fire energy u have. i usually strike FEAR in a mage making him do a useless shockwave then i do a 5sec beat down o him but archers R different they always running but my critical hit AXE is deadly. if u wanna be a Warrior on Broly's lvl fight my friend The_Witch_King_9 he is 1 of the 2 Warrior's i found difficult 2 fight against (Fob being the 2nd). U can dodge Aragons L1 O if u block the 4 hits & time the last 1. U can do a shoulder bash if u do 2 dodges i think & a real tip L1 triangle is rather pointless in a 1v1 vs warrior or scout

*Broly suddenly finds that he can't drink the beer. Srini had welded his lips shut*
How do you warriors protect yourselves from scouts when you're fighting someone else? I have never failed to sucessfully backstab a preoccupied warrior. Is it truly left to chance that you will survive?

Certainly being backstabbed is a common dilemma for warriors. The only thing you can really do is take preventive measure to the best of your ability. When I'm fighting, I'm constantly moving my camera around for others in the vicinity. Warriors can change direction in mid combo so sometimes as I'm wailing on somebody and aware of a scouts presence, I can do a quick surprise turnaround on him to expose him, jump out of the way then take them both apart methodically. Heavy use of the ax goes a long way to this end as it's just as good a close range weapon as long range, as well as a good scout exposer. Having a big screen HD screen helps and on stages with sky exposed in the background, you can see outlines if you move the camera downward facing up. If I know an invisible scout is near me, than I'll perform flailing jumping strikes because it's a good way to expose them. I also play scout a lot and I know how they think and what opportunities they like to take advantage of so I'm extra weary of them. Especially if I know that a particularly good scout is in the room.

Actually the only map I can clearly see scouts is The Shire. In other maps, I find them out if they touch me. Otherwise, I just do my best to avoid them.

Keep your combos short to minimize the time that you are vulnerable. That's really the best anti scout that you have.
if you know they are there aerials are good, or just run away.
