So, I'm attending the Vanderbilt College of Arts and Science, which is a liberal arts college so we have to take a bunch of courses in different subjects. One of the things all first year students (freshmen) are required to take is a first year writing seminar, although which particular class (seminar) we choose is up to us. So, I chose one that was supposed to be about mmorpgs and their place as a story telling medium and stuff like that. One of the cool things about it is that we'll be playing an mmo as part of the course, but I figured that it would be some crappy free online one. Turns out I was wrong... I had my first class today and we'll be playing...LOTR online! Not only that, but as homework we have to watch the first lotr movie (fellowship), and throughout the course we will be reading the first book, and comparing the three mediums (text, film, game). FUCKING WIN. Both extremely awesome and fascinating! I hear that's a really great MMO. If you don't mind me asking, what's your major?

I can't declare a major until my sophomore year. Even I could now I wouldn't know what I want to do.
