billy of course there had to been something(ie. god). so since there has to be something to start it, we have 2 options: the world has existed for eternity, or god created it roughly 6,000 years ago.
BM that is not my belief, and i never said it was. but isnt the big bang theory totally contrary to christianity? it is a theory of creation without a creator, isnt it? by proving the big bang theory, you disprove god.

You really think the world was created 6000 years ago?
Ultimately whether or not you think the big bang theory or physics or science or knowledge in general disproves god is up to you. I'm just saying that I really doubt the scientists experimenting with the LHC have god on their mind.

BM once again you fail to realise that i'm talking about the big bang, not general knowledge that tries to disprove god. of course they had god on their minds when they are trying to disprove his existance...

it is a theory of creation without a creator, isnt it? by proving the big bang theory, you disprove god. big bang (if it happened) only explains existence of a universe. Do other universes exist? (big bang is far from explaining everything) . God is not disproved. billy of course there had to been something(ie. god). so since there has to be something to start it, we have 2 options: the world has existed for eternity, or god created it roughly 6,000 years ago. Don't tell God what to do. That's my job.

The hearth created 6.000 years ago omg xD That's not possible, and what is write in to the Bible has not to be taken literally, all what is write inside needs an interpretation, 6.000 is just a symbolic age written cause they didnt have the knowledge to know the truth. And anyways remember that Bible is just a book written by humans, and looot of time ago, with all eventual modifications that surely happened. Plus, the most of the scientist think that science and religion must stay on their respective ways and no one of them should try to disprove the other. For example, if there it was a Big bang that created universe, why couldnt be God that acted for it?

Bishop Ussher was brave to slap a youthful date on the world during the 17th century. The World blushed and said: thank you, but flattery will get you nowhere your grace.

the bible does not specifically say the earth is 6,000 years old, but if you like count up all the ages of the people listed in the bible its roughly 6,000. and in genesis 6:3 it says then the LORD said, "my spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years." those are jubilee years, and a jubilee = 50 years. 120 jubilees = 6,000 years. youtu.be/S1bkB1nShSU if you wanna spend time to look into this, it will explain everything about the 6,000 years ^^. very interesting

ok idk how im ordering him about, but HE certainly said we have 6,000 years, and he cant lie. he planned it out and chose the time for everything, and now hes sticking to it.
and now your the one voicing god. isnt that right?

lol......... The earth is not 6000yrs old xD Dinosaurs walked the earth long before that time, unless you believe dinosaurs walked the earth 6000yrs ago? ;D (which proves earth is older than you think it is )
