um no - insert some thought up random number + or - it depending upon if the person likes or dislikes it is not saying (writing) much.
"+ and - do rock!!!" Is that some modern way of quoting Shakespeare? Where the Bard would of wrote "therefore, since brevity is the soul of wit, and tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes, I will be brief"
It just seems that a whole lot of nothing is being written on these boards now. Yes I realize this isn't the proper thread for it, but its not like it matters much anymore.
To get back to the topic of this thread......
No there will not be a LOTR 2 in the style of our beloved Conquest anytime soon. The War in the North which hopefully comes out in March is for co-op play of up to 4 people. With the Hobbit movies eventually coming out in the next few years we can have more LOTR games, but I doubt if anything will be as similar or as fun as Conquest was.

Everything is allowed. It's up to you to do what you think is right to make a good forum for yourself and everyone else.
Do think spamming makes a good forum?

As much as I'd love another LotR version of the Star Wars Battlefront formula, it'll never happen after the horrible reviews Conquest got. Seriously, EA is basically Satan. First, they rush the game out of the normally awesome developers at Pandemic, creating a shoddy game after hyping it up as the next level of the very well-reviewed Battlefront series. Second, they shut down the game a year after it's released even though a decent amount of people still played, and was not quite irrelevant yet (other games on the shutdown list were basically all EA Sports games from like 2005). Third, by releasing the game in a shoddy form, they permanently blocked the chances of us ever getting a good LotR version of Battlefront since everyone associates the idea with failure. Fuck EA My main problem with this is you're making the game seem like it sucked, which is odd because we all played it to death, haha. Was it rushed out? could it of been better? sure. But still a very good as is, if you ask me. (besides the mage being overpowered )

But still a very good as is, if you ask me. (besides the mage being overpowered ) I'd honestly give the game around a 5 or 6/10. It was just such a massive disappointment compared to the ideas Pandemic was pitching in its development. Remember Stronghold mode? Yeah, the mode they mentioned in development with the definitive fortress defense multiplayer we all masturbated to when we first heard the game was coming out. Also throw Ringbearer mode in with the list of awesome, but trashed concepts. Oh, and the Guardian class. The game itself was unbalanced and clumsy, with horrible melee hit detection that basically made it so the only way a warrior could possibly hit something was if he knocked it down with an axe first. The maps are blueballs-inducingly small, but even more of a disappointment was the fact that they capped the multiplayer to 16 per game. I, and I'm sure many others as well, played this game because it was unique, it had a small, tight-knit community, some nice competition, and the fact that I was good at it. I loved and still play the game because of the community, but I'm not going to pretend it couldn't be a million times better than it turned out to be. The game was decent, but I still look back at what it could have been, and what it could have led up to, and can only say "Fuck EA".
