Here is an idea from me I actually think rather well and probably the only way to the server yet to get back
I have an idea for EA, they could combine all versions then you only pay for a server and they could also advertise in the loading screen pure pack with the money they could pay for the server and maybe even have something left. If the servers are back it would even buy a bit more again.
PS: does anyone know how to contact EA

Useless, they will not accept or even care about Conquest, that's the bare truth. In their forum we tried yet to persuade them to let us pay something and let us have the EA Nation alive but they didnt even answer.

^ It appears to be out of EA's hands: www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/dungeonsdragonsonlineeberronunlimited/news.html?sid=6259210"WBIE has now locked down all gaming licenses associated with the Lord of the Rings IP. In 2009, it reclaimed rights for non-MMORPG Lord of the Rings games based both on the books and director Peter Jackson's film trilogy from Electronic Arts."Warner Bros. would have to bring Conquest back and, at this point, that would be highly unlikely.

EA doesnt need the license of lotr to rehost server, cq was made when they had it, so now they still can do addons or whatever they want with this game, but the thing is that they won't. Same for bfmes, ea closes servers, and its abandoned from shops.
edit: it would be easier to persuade them to give modding tools than persuade them to rehost ea nation, with these tools we would be able to create new multiplayer mode...

Not gonna happen. Players have moved on to the new way to play. The PC is now the only and will always be the only way to play

You could also talk about it with money that they do it. For EA, it's always about money! That's why I did that on the advertising made clean. So that they could then make money. In order to make players happy to do the intended not. We then make a donation account, and sometime they do with the money.

This is not to the License. You can still do everything with the game what they want. They may just not new Lord of the Rings make games. The text is from google translate, not angry by errors

Alright, so then it's the fact that pandemic doesn't exist anymore, or that EA just doesn't give a shit. Either way, this discussion is pointless because they're never bringing the servers back.
