HOW TO PLAY THE LORD OF THE RINGS CONQUEST ONLINE USING TUNNGLE The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is an action game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and borrows many gameplay mechanics from Pandemic's Star Wars: Battlefront games. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil. The Steps to Playing1. Install The Lord of the Rings: Conquest2. Join the The Lord of the Rings: Conquest network 3. Start the Game 4. Go to "Multiplayer", "Local Game" and then "Join Game" 5. Join any Server in the List 6. Have Fun Video Tutorial
CNQReboot Server Info*The Lord of The Rings: Conquest now has Dedicated Servers once again! *Please help donate to the servers by going to www.cnqreboot.info Please Support Tunngle and the CNQReboot Servers!!!!! Old Tutorial (21 June 2010) Tunngle is a VPN (Virtual Private Network) program, very simular to hamachi! The only difference is that Tunngle is designed for game playing whereas hamachi is designed for workplaces. Nearly all users who played on Hamachi and Tunngle will say that Tunngle is 1000 times better than hamachi. Tunngle now has dedicated servers running as well to decrease the lag. The good news is that there is no configuration. Just install tunngle and then launch conquest to play. Tunngle can be downloaded from here: www.tunngle.net/If you are not sure how play here is a tutorial video Another good piece of news is you can have more that 16 people in a network. If anyone has problems installing or using it then feel free to contact me. Please Note: You will need to create a user account on the website to use the program. TUNNGLE IS ONLY ON PC!!!Joining a network: Unlike hamachi you do not stay in a network after you exit tunngle. Instead you need to join a network everytime you wish to play. There is only one network. To join a network just type lotr or conquest in the network search bar. The bar on the right shows other players in the network. You can chat with them and play conquest with them. The program is very easy to use so you should have no problem. HAVE FUN!

The connection was quite playable with 3 people. On guy was in USA and the other in Poland and the lag was like official servers.
Also it is still only 8v8 but 255 in one game would be insane.

another thing I forgot to mention was that you can add other users as friends. This will allow us to see when other users are online.

This is great. Now all we need is to get a sustainable number of people to play this game.

Yes i played yesterday. Laggs are the same as they were in the past. It seems we didnt lose our game totally after all. The only drawback is that there is no way to host a dedicated server. But maybe in the future that can be realised.

Would be awesome if it would work. In fact that would mean that we get our old game back!

A Note for all new players!!! Ive had alot (and i mean alot) of new players coming up and asking whether they need a patch. THERE IS NO PATCH NEEDED!!!! You do NOT need to update to play. All you do is go to multiplayer, then local game and then join.
Its that easy. No patches required.
