BM: I'm not mad or offended. Just frustrated (which tends to happen during these type of discussions), I guess. No big deal.
Hanz: That's pretty much it.

Hell, for all we know the truth behind the 'missing link' could be something that humanity has not even considered yet. It's a huge universe and we could fill endless volumes with what we don't know.

What do you not understand? I said that I believe Evolution is real. It happened. It's still happening. BUT.......... ...I don't think science, logic, and evolution tell the whole story. My personal, spiritual, or otherwise...beliefs are of my own. Consider this my "period" on the whole Evolution discussion. Basically your saying you don't rule out the possibility that a high being of some kind got the ball rolling? Hanz, I don't think He is ruling it out. I think my beliefs are pretty close to Strider in terms of religion and evolution.

Interesting stuff, u would prob be able to youtube the interview between Stein and Dawkins. just throwin that out there. P.S. lol not sure if that is how Stein spells his last name lol, but whatever. peace from the fob.

I've seen this "documentary", Ben Stein should be ashamed of himself. and Yash, yes I know what you meant, I was just saying since she said she didn't believe in evolution at all I figured the rest of her opinions would be like that any way.

Just to set aside the whole Darwin vs God debate for the time being.......
Being Canadian, we "as in Canadians" mostly tend to be.....um not just beer drinking hockey loving winter cursing hosers eh!, but more Liberal (Think Democrat but more to the left) minded. Canada has managed to separate "Church" from Government, even though our government is based on christian values. Evolution is taught in our sciences classes. Sex education is introduced from elementary school levels. I have heard that in American schools are not allowed to teach evolution or sex education, and I can't help but be mind blowingly perplexed by this!?! I would question the motives behind this. Would you not want your citizens to be best equipped to cope with the world outside your borders? God bless America, but there is still the REST OF THE WORLD! Do not get me wrong, I am not slamming America by any means, just help me to understand why or what it is to be an American.
