Tried the demo last night and........................it's pretty cool, the alien is probably the most kick ass but is a little hard to work because it can crawl up walls & ceilings and going really fast makes me dizzy! The music adds to the creepy atmosphere of holy crap I'm going die!!! (especially being a marine).
The downside: it took forever to finally get the 8 people needed to play a game, and getting dropped in the middle of game play as well. But being a demo I hope that the game will have fixed those problems. Still not fully decided if I'll be purchasing this game, I may rent it & wait for the reviews form you all before committing.

The game is pretty fun. Not sure if it's worth a purchase. Oh & the game would've been more appealing to me in a third-person view. BUT WHATEVARRR.

As far as the characters go, it seemed as if the Predator players were always at (or near) the top.

I wasn't able to use a Predator (stupido character selection), but I did manage an MVP with an Alien. With an Alien, grabbing your opponent seems vital. Both Marine and Predator players are stronger in terms of ranged attacks. Though, the Alien is faster and more versatile (surface changes).

So, yeah...as of now, I'd say Predator is tops - just by observation. I might change my tune once I use him or as I adjust to the game.

The Predator is definitely tough, but so is everybody else in their own way. He seems to be the middle ground to just about everything. His stealth is pretty good, but the Alien's is better due to speed and camo. His vision is unique, but he has to choose who he wants to be able to see at any particular time. His weapons are incredibly powerful, but they're difficult to aim and the Marine will usually be able to outgun him.

I've actually seen the Marine win a lot of the time while playing with everybody in full matches. He basically destroys everything in a 180 degree radius of him. You can't melee him from the front because he'll kill you at the same time you kill him (unless heavy attacking changes that. I don't heavy attack much), and he rules the narrow hallways. He's got a lot of fire-power, and can rake in massive kills if no one is paying attention to him.

It's a good game even though I suck at it :/, they need to fix those servers the only way I could get a game was playing with mates and mates of mates. Also I don't think death match was the best mode to show I don't think it suits the game well, it should be atleast team death match, earlier on I was playing with others and the humans worked togeather, which made it much more fun... Turning around to see you freind get a tail shoved through his heart is quite scary.

Yeah will i remember how you and the other humans gang bang me lol, but in the end the alien won ..... 1 tip, when you use aliens never stop running and use the grab alot, never attack directly and learn to stalk your enemy

I only played a few rounds and it was pretty fun. Very intense and emulates the feeling of the respective movies very well, especially as the marine running around knowing you're the most exposed and hearing those little blips but unable to see anything.

I just wish there was at least some kind of tutorial in the demo that let you run through the controls. I got 'lucky' and got to be the Predator the first time, but had no idea how to even use my gun, and still don't. Though I still did pretty good running around and just punchin' suckas with death claws of death.

As long as there's good objective modes in the full game I'll probably get it. Some kind of defense type of game holding a posistion against Aliens swarming in would be great.

There is a "Survival Mode" which is co-op splitscreen and online (I think) where it's just up to four marines vs waves after waves of aliens, with increasing difficulty.

I think there are eight game types right now, but I'm not sure what they all are. Two I do know are Infestation and Predator Hunt. In Infestation, one player is randomly chosen to be an Alien, and the rest play as Marines. Anybody the alien kills then becomes an alien, and the objective is to be the last man standing. Predator Hunt is similar, with one player becoming the Predator (might be random or it might be first kill, I dunno). Players score points by becoming the Predator and getting kills. To become the Predator, you have to kill the existing Predator.
