I've decided to finally make this thread, in hopes that it can clear up what exactly the messages the White Council has been trying to send to the COMMUNITY as a whole. In the beginning of its formation, I think I didn't make it clear enough and it came off as just another "clan" trying to take place of two that had already been established. That is my fault. To rectify this and to firmly set my goal, I want to explain what I envision going forward for it here on out with one word. PEACE. With that I don't mean Humans and Orcs holding hands on the battlefield What I mean by that is setting aside your differences (outside the game) Whether it be because you are in separate clans or don't necessarily get along with someone else's play style, we can all find a way to look past that! To try and keep EVERYONE connected so no one feels stuck in the middle of some stupid conflict. That doesn't mean you have to leave ANY clan, it also doesn't mean there won't be rivalries. All it means it to RESPECT your opponent. If anyone has any questions please feel free to post here or to send me a message on XBL. All are welcome to take their part in helping sustain the game.

I hope nobody is offended by the following comments. Please forgive me if I offend you.
All right, a lot has been said and done to the community, between these boards, personal grudges, hatemail, and clan wars. Mime can't be the janitor here, cleaning up everyone's mess. I understand that you can't ignore everything, seeing as how your anger and sadness only build up if bottled up (I myself am similar), but in a perfect world none of us should say the hurtful or offensive comments in the first place. If we want everyone to be happy and content, along with making the game last longer, we have to improve some things:
Problem #1: Clan wars - These wars were supposed to be fun, yet all I see is, "PUHLEASE, we CRUSHED you scumbags! You have NO talent!" "You don't know anything! WE beat YOU! You have no IDEA what it takes to be good!" People need to just realize that there are a number of factors that affect the outcom of the match, such as distractions in each house, bad connections, off-days, glitching etc. Nobody can win because there will always be excuses, true or untrue. Then the losers will demand a rematch. Then the losers of THAT match will demand a rematch, and the cycle continues.
Solution #1: TAKE A LOSS!!! Put aside your giant egos and realize that you have lost the match! All you have to do is train, play honestly, and beat the other clan FAIR AND SQUARE. Victory ALWAYS tastes sweeter when you win fairly. Not by glitching (even in return), not by camping, not by spamming a class, but by playing fair. If you lose, be humble enough to accept it, ignoring the "OOOOHHHHH WE BEAT YOUUUU!!!!" messages from the other team. Let them be the real losers.
Problem #2: Hateamail/bragmail - Too many people send angry messages when they lose because of many things, but mostly because they were just embarrassed after how puffed up they were, which leads BACK to egos. Bragmail is completely unsporting. It is as if you win the NBA championship in a clean sweep of the other team, then run over and spit on their faces. UNSPORTING!
Solution #2: All right, you lost the match. Now all of a sudden sending "You suck. You don't even know how to play the game!" to the winner makes you better? That should not (and will not) be tolerated by anyone. it doesn't make you better, but actually makes you look worse, unable to accept defeat. Maybe the other person was *gasp* A BETTER PLAYER?!?! It's all right to lose. Bragmail is, in my opinion, WORSE than hatemail! At least hatemail can be ignored, due to the fact that you can say, "Hey I beat the guy, therefore I DO know how to play the game. Why should I respond to this card?" But with bragmail, you are picking on the helpless. ANYONE who hears of someone sending bragmail should, I think, get someone better than the jerk sending the bragmail because, of course, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE BETTER! The better players should not be jerks, but instead be kind and help those who are learning, protecting the weak from the Conquest "bullies".
Problem #3 Solitude - People who are alone with no friends are most often picked on, due to the fact that they have nobody helping them. These people become bitter at nearly everybody, always appearing offline for fear of harrasment by other clans. Don't believe there are people like that? Ask Eskater65, he knows how it feels. I myself was this way (until Hankey got me into the White Council), giving people like that my special attention.
Solution #3: Help train those people. The Conquest legends should teach the lowly, making them the strong. As Undyingeagle's signature says, "Help the weak become the strong... the world's problems will be gone". Help each other be better clan members, better players, and better people.
These are just three of the many problems with Conquest, but if each individual works on these things, we should be a better community. At the end of it all, isn't that what it's really all about. We better get to work...
Good luck... to us ALL

Blitz you are wise beyond your years and more mature than most adults I know (I'm including myself) Yes emotions run high either from the battlefields or in these boards. People get offended by simply the most stupidest of things for whatever reasons. You offer valid and well thought solutions, and I'm hoping people will take notice and actually do them. Unfortunately cheap is easy and usually wins out.

Thank you, Redwurd, but I am merely trying to help the community. Like I said, Mr. OptimusMime cannot change the community by himself, so I'm doing all I can to help. I am the robin to his batman, if you will, in terms of peace-keeping. Merely a helper. Also, I hope you're right that people will take notice of my suggestions. I assume you are not one of the cheap ones, seeing as how you continually post goodwill

Very well said Blitz. We all just need to realize that we can have friendly competition without taking it too far and get back to having fun first. That is why I open the doors and sent a message to everyone today letting them know that the White Council is open NOT as a clan but as a medium for peace OUTSIDE the games walls. We all have something in common and we all play a role IN THE GAME. We don't have to let that affect how we feel about each other as long as we all agree to play with respect. That was all I was trying to accomplish.

Optimusmime & Blitkrieg Boys get a PS3!!! We could use your considerable peace keeping talents around there! Or the UN, but that's not as much fun. I for one am glad that your presence is here in these boards & helping this community. I wholeheartedly concur with your efforts in Respect & Peace, be it during game play or out. I myself try to take the humourous (hey I think it's funny!) approach to help disarm any negative situations. "Like a monkey, ready to be shot into space. Space monkey! Ready to sacrifice himself for the greater good." " I assume you are not one of the cheap ones, seeing as how you continually post goodwill " Hey does this make me bat girl? I always thought of myself as Harley Quinn! ;D

Thank you very much Redwurd. Maybe a Harley/Bat Girl mix would suffice? hehe. I got back some really nice messages on XBL yesterday! I'm glad to see that some people really do want to keep the peace. For you PS3 folks, we are probablly somewhere between a Defcon 4 or 5 right now! My fear is this types of things are going to make people just say screw it and walk away completely. I myself had even thought about it...And I have been playing FOREVER! That's when I think about the newer players and how can we keep them around through this mess?! As I said, I know some people (especially now) are likely to never be friends again. I think some people however need to realize that their actions do have a wide range of consquences. I've always said RESPECT is the most important factor in this game today. If I don't have respect for you or vice versa, then what is the point?! There are already SO MANY talented people in the game, the only way to truly show that you are beyond all the petty BS is to do it all the right way. That means Be curtious, (No dancing on the dead) HEAL your teammates. protect your team. No glitching! Heck I'd still throw NOT changing into a scout JUST to backstab the hero into that as well. (UNLESS ABSOLUTLEY NECESSARY) The most important however is just not taking it all too serious OUTSIDE THE GAME or IN GAME. This really needs to stop! As I've said who ever does read this, just spread the message that the White Council isn't here like it was before being mistaken for a clan. I want to make that clear. EVERYONE is welcome as long as they are willing to keep the peace. That doesn't mean you have to stop "portraying" the bad guy either. It's beyond the characters we play in hope we can all stay connected through one goal. Thank you.

Agreed, Mime. Remember, though, I am trying to help you spread the message of peace. If I overstep my boundaries or anything like that, please tell me. I have to remember that YOU are the wise wizard Thanks, red. As mime said, you ARE more of a Harly Quinn/batgirl mix. You seem to be honest, kind, and very witty I might add Remember, the message of peace is NOT exclusive to Xbox, of course. You should also spread goodwill and respect among the Ps3. You'd be the perfect candidate for Head of Diplomatic Solutions over on Ps3 lol. Keep it up I hope nobody gets offended by my statements or anything. Something that just hit me is that I hope people do not think I'm trying to show-off or act older than I am. No matter what, i must remind myself that I am one of the youngest (if not THE youngest) member on these boards. This has lead to many people messaging me saying, "You're just a stupid kid! You think you are older than you are! Why don't you just get a pacifier and hop into your crib, baby!" I hope I have not offended anyone by my words. I am just trying to help. To those that I have offended, please forgive me.

You're fine Blitz! Sorry that you are getting messages like that...They shot John Lennon for trying to spread the word of peace. The only thing that I would say is we all need to stop saying "Black Council IS A bunch of Glitchers!!!" or "ALL Mordors does is Glitch!!!!" I only say that because not EVERYONE in those groups DO glitch. There are however individuals that do. Those are the ones that are hurting this game little by little. It's not fair however to say everyone does just out of association. I'm very happy though that there are people that just want to have fun! That doesn't mean don't play competitive either. All it means is cut the drama involved. I think you see that alot of the european players have figured that out a LONG time ago too. It was much easier for me as well when I didn't talk...However I wouldn't have met so many nice people this past year who I truly could call my friends.

aww thanks Blitz, keep up the great deeds! sigh...... the people that go out of their way to dump whatever garbage on you, are not worth even a second thought. You have a heck of a lot of integrity and thoughtfulness and that is remarkable to have irregardless of your age. I was listening to this song before going on these boards and I thought it appropriate: "You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one."

Well said. I think we all just need to find a way to keep the peace in our own way! I think what we are still missing is MORE communication (IN A NICE WAY!) Send a message to an opposing teammate once in awhile when you see something, like a nice shot or an impressive team win. That way EVERYONE will know that it's not being taken too seriously! I normally just try to stay in contact with everyone on my friends list, even if I don't talk in game I will STILL commonly send messages to people when I see something either pretty funny or really cool. I think its very possible to go out their and be competitive AND be respected because I know I STILL get allot of nice messages! Just a thought and maybe you could spread the word.
