[thread revival]I've noticed that a few members here seem to be taking the awards results to heart. Obviously, there are certain players that deserved to be mentioned, players that weren't mentioned, and there are those that should have been higher on the lists. The results are indicative of who voted. It's really not so much of a popularity contest. However, you all must remember the following: Participation: This community is comprised of 300 members (give or take) - note: inactive members, multiple accounts, etc. Everyone had nearly TWO months (one month the second time around) to vote. If you didn't vote, and wanted to see some of your friends/clan-mates on these lists, you must shoulder some of the blame. Why so serious?: This is just for FUN. Treat it as such. If you're acting as if these awards are the end-all, be-all - I would ask you to reconsider your stance. Slighted: People are going to get left out. This happens with any awards presentation. Deserving candidates don't always get the recognition that they deserve. Disappearing act: Players that took an extended hiatus or only stick to certain game-modes, instead of branching out, cannot possibly expect the entire community to know who they are. That said, please try to view the awards with a new perspective. It's. not. that. serious. Lighten up a bit, folks.
